Nutrition links

Just for info - I shall maintain this page as a link to some nutrition work that as influenced me.

These two clips move at 100mph!  They are only 8 mins each, but I had to listen twice to catch everything.  However, they are scientifically biased, light on subjectivity which is a good basis for assessing all other articles.

  2. hanks for sharing your fascinating journey, David. These nutrition pieces are intriguing. Forgive the naive question, but don't you need carbs & glycogen for those rapid 800's? Will you tweak your diet as you move into the track season?

    1. Definitely!! The long distance fat burning approach only works whilst you're in the fat-burning heart rate zone!! I find that if I go to a Tuesday Night Track Session without having eaten any carbs on the Tue lunchtime, my energy levels are low, and there is no speed.
